Forget about American Next Top Model, as some humanoid female model robots will come to the United States in a few years' time to replace the human fashion models.
In Japan, such a kind of a walking, talking humanoid fashion model robot has already surfaced.! But, luckily, these female robots seem to have some glitches, which the catwalk performed by them was so clumsy that is very unlikely acceptable by the fashion industry.
The Japanese's fashion model robot is called HRP-4C, developed by Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Each of these bots has 30 motors in her body, is 62 inches tall and weighs 95 lb. She also has 8 motors in her face, allowing her to make certain expressions to the crowd, like anger and surprise.
